Keep up the lovely work!
This is the place for students, parents, and teachers to find out what we have been creating in art class. I hope that these experiences will help students discover their personal artistic interests and become confident, capable learners. I have included pictures of student's artwork and basic explanations of the projects.

Prep - Map of Our Hearts!
Our artwork was inspired by ourselves!
We showed what they love by creating a map to our heart (precious).
We used black textas, crayons and bleeding tissue paper to paint the background.
Year 3 Up Close Perspective
Year 3s have worked beautifully to create their close up flowers. We learned that up close objects have more detail than objects that are further away (part of our perspective unit). So proud of this lesson.
Students learned about sketching and drawing what they saw. Students spent half of a lesson sketching their flowers and other half practicing different wet on wet techniques using tube watercolour paints. The next lesson students mixed their paint and painted their flowers using the wet on wet technique. For the final lesson students added in some texture and colour using the wet on dry technique and used soft pastel for the background. Students also outlined their flower using black glue.
