Year 3 FInal Landscapes

Over the last 5 weeks, the Year 3s have been working on their final landscape pieces. A whole lots of love (and learning :)) went into these unique pieces, so please enjoy. Students were asked to create 3 mini pieces that reflected some of the techniques they learned to show depth and distance in their work.

Year 3 Final Landscape Pieces

Goodness, the Year 3s are blowing me away with their amazing art work. Students were inspired by the Kitchen Garden Program and lovely Mother Nature. This is a final piece to showcase everything that the students learned in Term 3. What unique pieces of art!

Year 3 Silhouette Landscapes

In our landscape unit, Year 3s have been learning that colours are lighter/pale towards the horizon line and that images closer to the horizon line are smaller than images that are closer to us. Of course, students chose their own colours and images ;)

Year 3s used soft pastel and ink to create these stunning images.

Year 3 Final Landscape Piece

During the term, Year 3s learned how to create depth and distance in their art work. They used all the skills they learned and planned a final piece that consisted of 2 A5 pieces of paper. Students used watercolour crayons and pencils, soft pastel and ink. Lovely results! Work was inspired by nature and the Kitchen Garden Program at our school.
