Usually I do two print making activities with the Year 4s, but sadly we did not get to do reduction prints - I know the results would have been AMAZING.
The Year 4s printed over 2 class periods and had a chance to experiment with different inks and coloured paper bringing it to a total of 4 classes with planning and indenting their foam. Year 4s even mounted and signed their own work! I think that it really important for kids to mount their own work because it gives them more of the opportunity to reflect on their work.
This is the place for students, parents, and teachers to find out what we have been creating in art class. I hope that these experiences will help students discover their personal artistic interests and become confident, capable learners. I have included pictures of student's artwork and basic explanations of the projects.

Year 3 Plasticine Art
I apologise for the late posts folks! It was a very busy end of year, last year.
But I really did save the best for last. These Year 3 plasticine inspired art is so fantastic. Students really had a lot of fun creating and most were really surprised that they could make a picture using just plasticine.
A lot of love went into creating these pieces. ENJOY!
