Year 5 and 6 Art Pieces

Wonderful work Year 5 and 6s!

*** The Year 5 and 6s are desperate to do some more nail art! We are looking for small boards (or scraps) that are thick enough to hammer in nails!

Website Banner Competition held by the Art Leaders

The art leaders recently ran an art competition where kids had to create an image that best reflected what they found special about Elwood Primary School.

A big thank to everyone who handed in an entry. I was delighted to see so many interesting and creative art works and could tell that everyone put a lot of effort into making their art entry. All of the wonderful entries made the art leaders' job of picking just one winner extremely difficult.

Congrats to Suki from 3V for winning the Website Banner Competition!

Preps go under the sea!

Preps have been learning about cool colours and what better way to celebrate cool colours than to create a sea inspired piece of art.

Soooo colourful!

Year 2 Japanese Landscapes

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

2S is blowing me away with their ability to interpret the skills I have given them. We used soft pastel to create the mountains and Japanese ink to create the details. The Year 2s are learning about Japan in LOTE. I cannot wait to hang these beauties up.

Prep Autumn Leaves

Preps are learning about warm and cool colours. What better way than using autumn leaves as our inspiration!
