Prep Homes

I saw this lesson on newcityarts.blogspot.com and fell in love with it.

Preps were inspired by neighbourhoods or communities. 

Day 1: We talked about homes and talked about the characteristics of homes. Students used stamps, toothpicks, caps and clay tools to add details/texture to their home. We used air dry clay to create our homes. 

Day 2: Preps painted their homes with either cool or warm colours using acrylic paint.
